WEBWIRE

DuPont China recently received “The Most Responsible Company in China’s 30-year of Economic Reform” award at China’s International Forum on corporate social responsibility. The award recognizes companies for their successful corporate responsibility during the past 30 years -- since China’s economic reform.

Li Qing, vice president, DuPont China, accepted the award on the company’s behalf. “This is a significant enhancement for us. With such an honor, we are more confident to accelerate our business growth in China and work through the challenging market situation ahead,” Li said.

China’s International Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the biggest national events in promoting corporate social responsibility. With the theme of "30 Years of Reform -- the Increasing Sense of Responsibility,” this year’s forum is a part of the national celebration for the 30th anniversary of China’s economic reform. About 400 representatives from government agencies, enterprises and media attended the forum, which was broadcast by Phoenix TV, the most popular Chinese language TV channel in China.
