Comcast Provides More Family Entertainment with Launch of Disney Family Movies Subscription On Demand Service

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications, together with Disney-ABC Domestic Television today announced the launch of the subscription video on demand (SVOD) service, Disney Family Movies. The service, which showcases classic and contemporary Disney family movies from one of the world’s largest film libraries, is now available to Comcast digital customers.

Disney Family Movies gives customers unlimited access to approximately 20 hours of content each month, including 10 Disney feature films and two short-form films. The titles will remain in rotation for about a month, with new movies added weekly. The initial titles available at launch this month, including George of the Jungle, The Parent Trap, Eloise at the Plaza, and Treasure Planet, can be found on Channel 1 in “Premium Channels” under “Disney Family Movies.”
