Legal and Financial Recruitment Specialist Sellick Partnership Launches into Leeds

Legal and financial recruitment specialist, Sellick Partnership, has opened for business in Leeds as part of its geographic expansion strategy. The Leeds office will provide financial and legal recruitment solutions to both public and private sector organisations across Yorkshire, and will be led by Hannah Cottam, a board director.

Since establishment in 2002, Sellick Partnership has experienced a significant amount of growth with a network of seven offices nationwide, a reported turnover of £16 million in 2008 and a predicted turnover of £21 million for 2009. The opening of a Leeds office was a natural next step as part of their growth plans to ensure the continued high level financial and legal recruitment service to existing clients and candidates across the region. Increased demand for qualified finance and legal professionals emphasised the need for a specialist team at a local level that can work harder for their clients and candidates alike.

Commenting on the move into Yorkshire, Hannah Cottam said: “Leeds was the obvious choice as a location due to the City being the second largest legal centre in the UK, as well as offering a fantastic infrastructure and links to reach other areas within the region. Our new office, based in Park Place is a prime location within the professional district of Leeds, making us very accessible.”

Amy Bullock will manage the Legal recruitment division, supplying qualified solicitors and barristers to public and private organisations across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East. Amy currently works with all the major public funded bodies in these areas. The Financial recruitment division will be managed by Stephanie Sheard, supplying qualified finance professionals to public and private sector organisations across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Stephanie currently provides financial recruitment solutions to a diverse range of large organisations including the NHS, housing associations and local authorities.

Hannah, Amy and Stephanie are all relocating to the Yorkshire area in order to fully immerse themselves into the Yorkshire community, and are all really looking forward to the exciting challenges ahead.
