Progressive’s concierge claims service makes the repair process faster and easier
MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio. — For some people, finding a temporary ride and a repair shop are the most stressful parts of being in a car crash, but it doesn’t have to be that way thanks to Progressive’s new concierge claims service center in Marietta.
“The repair process can take several days including getting estimates, tracking updates, and inspecting the finished product,” said Andre Jones, Progressive’s Marietta claims service center manager. “Drivers who choose to use Progressive’s concierge claims service center can reduce the amount of time they spend on those details to about 15 minutes.”
Drivers simply drop off their damaged car and, within minutes, can be on their way in a rental car, while a quality body shop gets to work repairing their car. The repairs are guaranteed by both Progressive and the body shop for as long as the customer owns or leases the vehicle. The optional concierge claims service is available at no charge to Progressive customers and anyone involved in a claim with a Progressive customer.
Progressive began piloting the concierge claims service concept in 2000 and, in April 2003, opened what was then only its fifth site in Marietta. The new facility replaces the Airport Industrial Park site and is one of 54 claims service centers countrywide. In January 2008, Progressive received a U.S. patent for its concierge claims method. J.D. Power and Associates’ 2007 Insurance Claims StudySM found the service delivers repaired vehicles back to customers almost five days faster than the industry average.
The new concierge claims service center includes separate areas for dropping off damaged cars and picking up repaired cars, making it easier for customers to get in and out. It is conveniently located at the corner of White Circle and Cobb Parkway at 1616 White Circle NW.
