Hilton Family Hotels Tone Up with Fitness by Precor
More than 500 new fitness centers deliver promise of superior fitness experience and will help facilitate guests’ New Year’s Resolution to exercise more frequently
WOODINVILLE, WA & BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., December 23, 2008 – The Hilton Family of Hotels announced today that Fitness By Precor facilities have been installed in more than 500 Hilton Family hotels. The enhanced facilities enable fitness-minded travelers to experience the promise of an exceptional workout experience at their favorite hotels. Guests can maintain their fitness regimen while on the road -- particularly timely with the popular New Year’s resolution of exercising more often. The specially designed fitness facilities, launched in late 2006 as a major co-branding initiative, feature Precor strength, cardio and entertainment equipment, complemented by core training, balance equipment and stretch accessories.
Implemented at Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton and selected Hampton Inn and The Waldorf=Astoria Collection properties in North America, the initiative provides guests with a consistent, club-quality fitness experience, and the ability to customize their workouts.
Hilton noted that guest satisfaction at hotels outfitted with the facilities has increased significantly, by approximately 45 percent.
