eBook Bestsellers at BooksOnBoard; Vampires, Dragons Top List

Once again, Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally popular Twilight series tops the eBooks Bestseller List at BooksOnBoard (www.BooksOnBoard.com) for the second week of December. All four of the Twilight eBooks – Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn – are ranked within the top 10 bestselling eBooks, and the complete Twilight series bundle – which includes all four eBooks – is #10 on the bestsellers list.

“EBooks by Stephenie Meyer have always been popular with teenage girls,” according to BooksOnBoard CEO Bob LiVolsi. “Now people of all ages want to learn more about Edward and Bella after watching the movie, so the eBooks are seeing a surge in popularity.”

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart star as vampire Edward Cullen and his human love interest Bella Swan in the Twilight movie, which is a box office hit.

Other bestselling eBooks this week include the thrillers include Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell, The Treasure by Iris Johansen, The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly and Cross Country by James Patterson. Princeps’ Fury, Book 5 in Jim Butcher’s popular Codex Alera series, continued on the bestselling list.

Dragons flew to the top of the Romance eBooks Bestsellers List with About a Dragon and Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken. Both titles are available DRM-free from BooksOnBoard and Samhain, and can be downloaded directly to the iPhone. Vampires also featured on the Romance eBooks Bestsellers List with Zen and the Art of Vampires by popular paranormal romance eBooks author Katie Macalister.
