NAVTEQ Awards Enterprise Reseller Agreement in Brazil to SANTIAGO & CINTRA CONSULTORIA

Key agreement reinforces NAVTEQ’s commitment to the region

Chicago- NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, has established a reseller agreement with SANTIAGO & CINTRA CONSULTORIA (S&C CONSULTORIA), a São Paulo-based GIS consulting company.

S&C CONSULTORIA offers a complete solution of geo-IT consulting services for a broad range of industries, including government, oil and gas, forestry, agriculture, environment, telecommunication, utilities, mining, education and logistics. As an authorized distributor of NAVTEQ map data, S&C CONSULTORIA will provide project consulting as well as local sales and technical support.

Complete, comprehensive coverage is available in the following metropolitan areas: Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Campinas, Contagem, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, São José dos Campos and São Paulo in addition to coverage in 838 cities throughout Brazil. The Brazil map also contains a full set of features including over 16,000 POIs such as restaurants, hotels, gas stations and banks enabling users to select their destination either by address or the POI listing.
