Twilight Movie Bites eBook Readers, Series Tops eBooks Bestseller Lists at BooksOnBoard

Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally popular Twilight series tops the eBooks Bestseller List at BooksOnBoard (www.BooksOnBoard.com) for the third week of November. All four of the Twilight eBooks – Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn – are ranked within the top 12 bestselling eBooks, and the complete Twilight series bundle – which includes all four eBooks – is #6 on the bestsellers list.

“The Twilight series has always been popular, but has become even more popular in the past few weeks as people geared up for the Twilight movie,” according to BooksOnBoard CEO Bob LiVolsi. “The audience has expanded far beyond the intended teen audience, and now includes people of all ages.”

The Twilight movie, starring Rob Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, is a box office hit, grossing over $70 million over its first weekend in theatres.

Princeps’ Fury, Book 5 in the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, topped the bestsellers list. Popular thrillers include The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly, Cross Country by James Patterson, Night Chills by Dean Koontz and Divine Justice by David Baldacci. Too Fat to Fish, Artie Lange’s funny and moving memoirs, is also a bestseller.

Bestselling author Dana Marie Bell again led the eBook Romance category with Cat of a Different Color, Book 3 in the Halle Pumas series. To Seduce A Sinner by Elizabeth Hoyt followed, along with The Unmasking of Lady Loveless by Nicola Cornick, Be With Me by Maya Banks, and When the Duke Returns by Eloisa James.
