TestAmerica Receives High Performance Recognition by the USEPA Contract Laboratory Program
TestAmerica’s Burlington, Vermont laboratory was recently recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) for its excellent performance in support of the USEPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP).
The USEPA uses the Contractor Performance System (CPS) to evaluate and monitor the performance of contractors that provide services to government agencies. The Burlington facility was rated as excellent or outstanding under the following summary criteria: Quality of Service, Timeliness of Performance, and Business Relations. These ratings reflect the persistent top performance of the Burlington laboratory over the past year.
The CLP is a national network of USEPA personnel, commercial laboratories, and support contractors whose fundamental mission is to provide Federal, State, and tribal government agencies with analytical data of known and documented quality. Initiated in 1980, the CLP supports environmental data users in identifying contaminants and determining the level of contamination at Superfund hazardous waste sites prior to, during, and after site cleanup.
