Groupe Germain Unveils Two New Virtual Boutiques: www.collectiongermain.com, www.collectionalt.com
Montreal, Monday November 10, 2008 – Groupe Germain unveils its two new virtual boutiques today: COLLECTION GERMAIN (www.collectiongermain.com) and COLLECTION ALT (www.collectionalt.com). These new sites will allow, in just one click, to discover exclusive items from either the Germain Collection or the ALT Collection, in addition to finding a whole range of products to recreate, in one’s own home, the famous design and unique ambiance of the Groupe Germain’s hotel banners.
This initiative was developed following the numerous requests from clients of Groupe Germain’s Hotel-boutiques, who wanted to get a hold of the different high quality products that they discovered and adored during their visits to the hotels, for their own homes. In addition, “the Internet is an integral part of Quebecers’ daily life; with the launch of our two sites, we want to respond to their virtual shopping needs” explains Mrs. Christiane Germain, Co-President of Groupe Germain.
Groupe Germain has also launched COLLECTIONS, a magazine that brings home “the art of fine living”. The magazine is free and bilingual. 50 000 copies of the first issue are available at the Hotels-boutique Dominion 1912, Le Germain Montréal, Le Germain Toronto, and at the ALT Hotel Québec and ALT Hotel Quartier DIX30 in Brossard, all Groupe Germain properties.
The two virtual boutiques offer superior quality products in a large number of categories (bedding, bath, ambiance, dog accessories, etc.) where their origin itself is as important as their quality. “The source of the products that we use in our hotels and that we sell is very crucial for us” says Mrs. Germain. As a result, Groupe Germain has chosen partners who share the Group’s attention to detail, commitment to quality, and incomparable customer service, elements all that characterize Groupe Germain hotels.
COLLECTIONS magazine goes beyond a simple product offering. Inside its pages, one finds Christiane’s must-haves such as the Germain Moka Bed Linen, the Royal Plus Pillow, the Germain Wool Blanket, and the White Goose Down Duvet, “the height of hotel comfort that you deserve everyday” emphasizes Mrs. Germain.
