D-LINK partners with authorized MICROSOFT response point™ service provider, CBEYOND, for voicecenter™ phone systems

(NASDAQ: CBEY), a voice and broadband Internet provider built exclusively to serve small businesses.

The D-Link® VoiceCenter is a feature-rich, cost-effective small business phone system that is easy to use and manage, and is ideally suited for small businesses requiring up to 50 phones and phone lines. D-Link VoiceCenter 5- and 10-phone kits include the IP-PBX, IP phones and PSTN gateway. The D-Link VoiceCenter phone handsets feature capabilities including auto discovery and one-touch access to parking, retrieving, transferring, voice dialing other employees and voice dialing personal contacts. VoiceCenter runs on Microsoft’s Response Point™ software with Service Pack 1 and combines the features that businesses need with simple configuration and easy usage.

An authorized Microsoft Response Point service provider, Cbeyond’s communications and IT services include more than 30 productivity-enhancing applications, such as Hosted Microsoft Exchange, BlackBerry®, secure desktop and broadband laptop access. Its BeyondVoice® with SIPconnect service is an integrated package of local and long distance voice, high-speed Internet and mobile services that leverages the SIPconnect specification to interoperate with IP-PBX phone systems, like VoiceCenter.

VoiceCenter/Response Point system features include Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) trunking with Direct Inward Dialing (DID)-based inbound call routing to extensions. Other features include voice-activated dialing and voicemail access, voice-activated feature control, built-in auto-provisioning configuration, call-forwarding, call hold, call park and pickup, 3-way call conferencing, click-to-dial, paging system interface, and administrative reports. Also included are a speech-based auto attendant, user directory, nicknames, simple live operator access, and customizable prompts. It offers personal computer contact integration with Microsoft Outlook and Windows Contact/Address Book that implements click-to-dial convenience as well as voicemail-to-email forwarding, voicemail retrieval over the phone, and user availability status.
