DETROIT -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced preliminary financial results for its second quarter ended September 30, 2008.

Compuware expects fiscal 2009 second quarter total revenue of approximately $268 million, based on software license revenues of approximately $42 million, maintenance revenue of approximately $124 million and professional services revenue of approximately $102 million. The company expects earnings per share of approximately eight cents for the second quarter.
