Go Daddy Gears Up for NASCAR TV Sponsorship

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The action, excitement and roar of NASCAR has Go Daddy racing into the Sprint Cup Series as the broadcast sponsor of the Sylvania 300 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire Sunday, airing on ABC at 1 p.m. EDT.

Go Daddy will give fans the energy and action of race day with Go Daddy branding on everything from broadcast segments to the running order. The broadcast sponsorship marks Go Daddy’s debut into the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. NASCAR consists of three national series: the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The Sprint Cup series is NASCAR’s highest level of professional competition.

“Moving into the Sprint Cup Series makes sense for Go Daddy because all eyes are on the championship right now,” said CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. “NASCAR fans are about as dedicated as any fans in sports – what’s not to like about that?”

Go Daddy is no stranger to broadcast sponsorships. Earlier this year, Go Daddy presented the broadcast for the Nationwide Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway and provided the Canadian telecast for the NASCAR NAPA Auto Parts 200 in Montreal, Canada. Go Daddy was also the presenting sponsor for the Indianapolis 500 television broadcast in the IndyCar Series two years running.

Go Daddy hit the NASCAR scene as the primary sponsor for the No. 5 Chevrolet, fielded by JR Motorsports, in the Nationwide Series for six races in 2008. Go Daddy experienced its first NASCAR victory when Ron Fellows won in the Nationwide Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada.

Go Daddy leads its industry as the world’s largest domain name registrar and is also one of the world’s top Web hosting companies, helping novices and experts enhance their online presence with fast, friendly customer support. Go Daddy offers Web hosting packages with its exclusive “Hosting Connection” providing customers access to the most popular open source applications.
