Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced it has signed an exclusive 3-year agreement with The Bancorp Bank, a Wilmington-based online commercial bank that delivers customized financial services and “branchless banking” products through a network of private-label, affinity partnerships nationwide.
Qwest will connect The Bancorp Bank’s offices in Wilmington, Del.; Orlando, Fla.; Crofton, Md.; Exton, Philadelphia and Warminster, Pa.; and Sioux Falls, S.D., with Qwest iQ Networking® services, a wide-area network solution based on multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) technology.

The Bancorp Bank will also benefit from the ease-of-use of the Qwest Control® customer portal, which will enable The Bancorp Bank to manage all of its billing, toll-free and data services in one centralized location and online.
