For the first time, the Boost Mobile Elite 24 will host a Slam Dunk Contest – the ESPN RISE All-American Slam Dunk Contest – August 22 at 6:30 p.m. – prior to the main event’s 8:00 p.m. tip-off. The contest will have two rounds with two dunks per round, scoring is non-cumulative and only the top four players will advance to the final round; the player with the high score in the final round will win the contest. Boost Mobile Elite 24 players will be selected on Thursday, August 21 during a qualifier judged by their peers. Billups, Anderson and Boost Mobile Elite 24 alum and Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Kevin Love will judge the contest.
