AIR802 LLC Introduces New Super Flexible 400-Series Cable
Naperville, IL—AIR802 LLC, a global leader in manufacturing of wireless products and solutions, today announced the availability of its newest cable, CA400FLEX, a super and ultra flexible 400-series 50 ohm coaxial cable with a white colored jacket. It provides greater flexibility in routing cables in a variety of wireless applications.
“With increased competition and shrinking margins, difficulty in routing cables in many installations, our customers have requested a cable that can provide bending flexibility, low RF signal loss, attractive pricing and be aesthetically appealing, “ said Mike Bryant, Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder, AIR802 LLC. “By manufacturing a cable with a white jacket, stranded center conductors and a rubber-like thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket, this 400-series type super flexible cable meets our customer requirements.”
The CAFLEX cable is equivalent to LMR400UF®, but is manufactured with a white colored jacket favorable to installations in marine applications such as yachts, sailboats and cruisers for both the color and bending or flexibility of the cable. The jacket construction of TPE maintains the physical and electrical properties particularly well even in harsh saltwater environments. CA400FLEX is being installed on towers and is very suitable for either indoor or outdoor installations.
CA400FLEX is available for purchase in 500 or 1000 foot reels or by the foot or meter. It is available for purchase directly from AIR802 or through distributors. AIR802 LLC also offer a wide variety of pre-made antenna coaxial cable assemblies with various lengths and connectors options.
