For some time now it has been possible to compare everything from insurance costs to loan rates to the price of your favourite band’s new album. Now a new website, Peoplecompare.co.uk, is offering employers the chance to compare the services of recruitment companies.

Launching on July 1st, Peoplecompare.co.uk’s stated aim is to work as a tool to help employers find the best possible candidates, and to bring genuine clients with genuine vacancies direct to recruitment companies. The site works by allowing employers to compare agencies in specific regions that specialize in the desired sector. If an employer is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager in the North East with a history of B2B sales within the telecoms market, Peoplecompare.co.uk will list all of the agencies in that region that specialize in the field – eliminating the need for extensive searching. The website compares not only locality but also price and extra services. Additionally, a brief synopsis of businesses is given, enabling clients to make an informed decision about who they wish to work with.

The idea for the site came after the realization that though a recruitment business could offer more value for money in terms of service and knowledge than many larger competitors, they might not be able to reach a percentage of potential clients when looking to fill roles. Peoplecompare.co.uk aims to level the playing field.
