Kenworth To Host Medium Duty Chassis Update, Hybrid Truck Session at The Work Truck Show

KIRKLAND, Wash.– Kenworth Truck Company will offer the latest information on its new medium duty trucks and participate in a hybrid truck ride-and-drive event during The Work Truck Show Feb. 25-28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The annual show is sponsored by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA.


“Kenworth’s medium duty trucks are designed to provide low operating cost and high performance in every customer application,” said Jeff Sass, Kenworth marketing planning manager. “The Work Truck Show offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about Kenworth’s new T170, T270 and T370 models, PACCAR PX-6 and PX-8 engines, and all of the 2008 updates.”


Kenworth will host two product sessions on Tuesday, Feb. 26. The “Kenworth Chassis Update” is from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in Room B310 and the “Kenworth – Hybrid Truck Product Overview” is from 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. in Room A402. A Kenworth T270 hybrid pickup and delivery truck will be available for test drives during the “Hybrid Truck and Alternative Fuel Ride-and-Drive” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, and Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Kenworth will display five trucks in its booth (No. 1713) at The Work Truck Show. The featured trucks are a Kenworth T170 with dump body and hook lift, T270 bare chassis, T370 hybrid with utility body, T370 industrial carrier with winch, and T800 short hood with crane body.
