Pomeroy IT Solutions Selects SAP® CRM and SAP® ERP to Manage Product Distribution and Service Offerings

HEBRON, Ky. - December 26, 2007 - SAP America Inc., a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), today announced that Pomeroy IT Solutions, a leading provider of IT products and services, has selected the SAP® Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) and SAP® ERP applications to deliver industry best practices and integrate its financial, risk and compliance and audit-control processes.

In choosing SAP solutions, Pomeroy, of Hebron, Kentucky, wanted to better integrate the two sides of its business – IT product distribution and services – in order to realize a single view across all customers, obtain real-time visibility into its financial and control status, and deliver integrated solutions from a single, seamless environment.

“Our goal is to reduce our customers’ overall IT costs, thereby allowing them to reinvest in their core business” said Kevin Gregory, senior vice president and chief financial officer, Pomeroy. “SAP solutions will help us increase our own efficiencies and manage costs, ultimately helping us maximize our customers’ IT investments. SAP provides us best-in-class business practices in wholesale distribution, professional services and high-tech areas, and a faster implementation time. At the top of our selection criteria was time to market and a proven solution that could cover all of our system needs.”

Pomeroy is a national IT product distribution and services provider, delivering product life-cycle, IT help desk and desk-side support solutions to Fortune 2000 companies and government entities. Pomeroy employs approximately 3,500 professionals and reported 2006 revenues of approximately $631 million.

“Pomeroy understands the unique challenges facing its customers, particularly those in the midmarket,” said John Nugent, chief operating officer of Americas and Asia Pacific Japan, SAP. “We believe that SAP’s expertise in the distribution and professional services space will speed the delivery of goods and services to their entire customer base. In selecting SAP solutions, we believe they have made a sound, effective decision.”

The SAP solutions will be implemented at Pomeroy by IDS Scheer North America, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
