Birdstep Awarded Mobile Broadband Internet Contract from Dutch Mobile Operator

Birdstep Technology ASA, the world-leading provider of secure seamless connectivity and mobility software, has been awarded a substantial contract to deliver the next generation Notebook connectivity solution to one of the largest mobile operator in the Netherlands. The contract includes Birdstep’s EasyConnect client and device management server solution as well as software licenses for 2008 deployment.

Birdstep has been awarded a substantial contract to deliver the Mobile Operator’s next generation Notebook connectivity client. Through the client the mobile operator will be able to offer a complete portal with services and applications in addition to the classical mobile Internet connection to Notebooks provided by standard connection managers. The new mobile Internet connectivity client will become a launch pad to important services and a natural way to access mobile Internet for mobile notebook users.
