Kidnappers Release Schlumberger Employees in Sudan

Schlumberger announced today that the three employees abducted in Sudan on October 23, 2007 have been released. All three, one Egyptian, one Iraqi and a Sudanese, appear to be physically well and unharmed after their ordeal. They are currently undergoing a thorough medical check up before being reunited with their families and we request that they be given privacy during this time.

Schlumberger would like to thank all parties involved for their resolute and sympathetic handling of the incident. Schlumberger would also like to thank everyone who showed support and kindness during this event.
