Fujitsu Presented with 2007 "TDLeanSigma a Business Partner of the Year" Award from Tech Data U.S.

Tech Data’s third annual Business Partner Awards salute the channel commitment and innovative, business-building marketing efforts of its strategic partners.

To that end, Fujitsu enhanced Tech Data’s supply chain Web portal providing users with real-time, accurate data on purchase order status, ship dates, ETAs and detailed tracking. Furthermore, Fujitsu trained Tech Data’s Customer Response Team to use the new Web portal so they could provide quicker and more accurate response to the inside sales team. The new real-time inventory features eliminated the need for time-consuming phone calls and e-mails to check product availability. Additionally, Fujitsu was among the first to support Tech Data’s MyOpportunityTracker, a free e-business tool resellers can use to generate new revenue by tracking renewal opportunities for manufacturer-branded service agreements and warranties.
