Pregame.com Launches HollyWagers Entertainment Betting Blog
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – November 3, 2005: Pregame.com has launched its entertainment and pop culture betting blog, HollyWagers.com. HollyWagers will provide daily updates on the most unique and current movie, music, television and world event bets available at the internet’s most trusted sportsbooks.

The HollyWagers.com site will be run by Pregame Senior Entertainment Editor Kari O’Connor and Pregame’s Director of Marketing Communications, Jocelyn Saurini. What we all know is that women spend more money online than do men, so it only makes sense that we’d start looking for ways to bring some of that money into the sports gambling arena. HollyWagers was launched when the Pregame marketing team noticed spikes in traffic and click-through rate on days when their weekly sportsbook email contained entertainment prop bets as the main content. The team then launched an entertainment betting newsletter as a test case for three months before beginning development on the HollyWagers daily blog project. The HollyWagers blog will also maintain a weekly email update that will release the hottest entertainment betting tip of the week prior to its being posted on the website. However, the blog itself will provide users with a daily spot to check what bets are available on events like the Oscar awards, the birth of Bennifer’s baby and the winner or Survivor.
O’Connor was brought on board to monitor and organize the running of the blog and its email newsletter.
