The President of International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP), Canadian Chapter invites Dan Medakovic to the Position of National VP, Certified Learning Solution Partners.
Peterborough, Ontario – November 5th, 2007 – Operitel Corporation announced today that its Director of Partner Programs, Dan Medakovic, has been invited to join the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP), Canadian Chapter, in the position of National VP, Certified Learning Solution Partners. Dan received the invitation from Wendy Callaghan, president of the Canadian Chapter.
IAMCP was formed in 1994 to provide Partners a greater voice into Microsoft and to facilitate mutual growth and business development. Members and chapters are worldwide. Chapters are organized and led by member volunteers in cities around the world. Chapter membership fosters personal relationships that lead to mutual business opportunities. The large number of member companies provides a rich array of non-competing service providers with whom partners can offer an expanded portfolio to clients.
The Microsoft Certified Partner program includes more than 15,000 member groups worldwide. As technology has become increasingly complex and specialized, most of these partners have chosen to specialize in specific Microsoft Technologies. Because of this, Microsoft Certified Partners often cannot fill all of the technology needs of their customers.
To solve this challenge, the IAMCP brings together Microsoft Certified Partners in a forum where they can learn more about each other’s companies and capabilities. This enables partners to develop alliances and form virtual corporations, expanding their capabilities and making them more valuable in the marketplace.
This appointment will allow Dan to work with Microsoft and its Certified Partners [in] Learning Solutions (CPLS) across Canada and internationally to address skills gap and technical readiness issues in the IT industry. “I am very excited to represent and champion Microsoft’s Learning Solutions Partners within the IAMCP”, says Dan. “With Dan’s previous experience as Microsoft’s Learning Solutions program manager along with his current role managing Partner Programs for Gold Certified Partner, Operitel Corporation, he is sure to bring a lot of insight and experience to the table when representing IAMCP members in Canada. We are very excited about the coming year.” adds Wendy Callaghan, IAMCP Canadian Chapter President.
