Online brokerage Scottrade boosts marketing efforts and management team with addition of Kimberly Wells and Erin Eschen Liford to Interactive Marketing Group

St. Louis. – Scottrade (https://www.scottrade.com), the leading branch-supported online investment firm, announced the hiring of Kimberly Wells as Director of Interactive Marketing and Erin Eschen Liford as Search Marketing Lead and webmaster of Scottrade.com.



As Director of Interactive Marketing, Wells will lead the interactive marketing efforts for the firm, including Internet media planning, creative development and implementation, tracking and reporting, budgeting, corporate Web site management and e-mail marketing.

Wells has 19 years of business development and marketing experience, including over seven years of online marketing experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Scottrade, Wells served as a senior Internet manager with A.G. Edwards in St. Louis. Wells earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

In July, Scottrade also added Erin Eschen Liford to its interactive marketing team. Liford will manage the firm’s paid and natural search marketing and serve as the manager and webmaster of the firm’s public Web sites, including Scottrade.com, which is one of the Internet’s busiest Web sites.

Liford has been a search leader and manager of search products over the past three years and has advised hundreds of businesses on best practices for search engine optimization, Web site usability and conversion. She also has experience in e-mail marketing, Web site design and product management.



Prior to joining Scottrade, Liford held multiple positions at Belleville, Ill.-based MonsterCommerce, a division of Network Solutions. Liford earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
