Times Newspaper Declares Warwick Best Midlands University

The Times Newspaper has, once again, ranked the University of Warwick as the top university in the Midlands in its new universities league table published in the Times on Thursday 16th August.

Warwick is ranked 7th overall in the UK, one place up on its 8th position ranking in 2006.

The University of Warwick’s Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Stuart Palmer, said:

“There will always be considerable debate about such league tables, and how each one is constructed. However one cannot escape the fact that they are all carefully considered by prospective students. Warwick is therefore obviously pleased to be consistently rated within the top ten of all the UK newspaper university league tables this year.”
