Citibank Savings Opens in New Frontera Verde Lifestyle Hub in the Philippines

Manila – With the opening of a Citibank Savings branch in Frontera Verde (in the Ortigas Center), world class banking products and services are now available in one of the country’s newest lifestyle hubs.

Led by Stephen Bird, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Banking, Citibank Asia Pacific, the new Citibank Savings branch was unveiled at a launch event for Citibank guests and clients.

In his welcome address, Mr. Bird affirmed Citi’s commitment to the country and spoke about the many untapped growth opportunities in the Philippines and Asia Pacific.

"The Philippines has a special place in Citi’s history and we are always very pleased to expand our presence here and hire more of the local talent.

“Our story of growth in the Philippines is replicated across Asia Pacific where we have increased our retail branch network four-fold in the last four years,” said Mr. Bird.

Citibank Savings chairman, Mark Jones, who is also the Country Business Manager for Global Consumer Group, Citibank Philippines added, "Citibank Savings gives us the opportunity to be present in more locations; and offer our first-class financial products and services to more Filipinos around the country.

Located at the ground floor of Fun Ranch (a high traffic section of Frontera Verde) the new Citibank Savings branch features bright interiors and cozy meeting areas. It is also highly accessible to shoppers, merchants and residents in the area.
