New Training Resources Help Partners Leverage Oracle Database 11g to Expand Their Businesses

Partners across the globe are ready to leverage new Oracle Database 11g partner enablement programs to help them to innovate solutions and services faster to further grow their businesses. Nearly 300 Oracle partners, across various partner segments, participated in the Oracle Database 11g beta program and are touting manageability and change assurance, grid consolidation, Oracle Real Application Testing and information life cycle management, as well as the additional resources that will help them continue to innovate at a rapid pace.
Resources for Partners
The foundation for partners’ success with Oracle is Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), a worldwide partner ecosystem of more than 19,500 companies, a management portal, an interaction center for partner support, and a global business program. As a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork, partners have access to development, education, support, sales and marketing resources, as well as specialized Product Focus Areas and Initiatives to streamline their enablement on Oracle products and facilitate go-to-market opportunities, market expansion, and revenue growth. Membership in the Database Product Focus Area provides easy access to the most current information, tools and resources available to facilitate incorporating Oracle Database 11g and associated options in third-party solutions.

“We’ve worked closely with Oracle Development to ensure that a host of partner education and enablement programs for Oracle Database 11g are immediately available to our partner community, ” said Doug Kennedy, vice president, Worldwide Alliances and Channels at Oracle. “A combination of online resources and physical events, including seminars, provides an introduction to new capabilities as well as deep technical training to help partners understand how to leverage these new features to drive more innovation into their solutions and services.”
