French anti-trust authorities approve sale of T-Online France to Neuf Cegetel
The French anti-trust authorities have concluded their review of the sale of the Internet business T-Online France S.A.S to Neuf Cegetel. The authorities have approved the acquisition of Deutsche Telekom AG’s subsidiary, which operates under the brand Club Internet in France, by Neuf Cegetel.
The transaction has been closed. Thereby, the sale was able to be finished within the first half year of 2007.
The sale of T-Online France is part of the “focus, fix and grow“ strategy presented to the public by the CEO of Deutsche Telekom on March 1, 2007.
