MultiVision USA Expands Florida Processing Facility

WEBWIRE

MultiVision USA today announced that it has further expanded its U.S.-based oblique aerial imagery processing capability with the addition of a new facility in Orlando, Fla. The expansion, which effectively doubles the company’s through-put capacity, means that in addition to processing data for U.S. clients at the Florida facility, MultiVision USA will now also perform production in the United States for select international projects.

“This expansion represents the best of both worlds for MultiVision USA and our clients,” said Dave Ledgerwood, MultiVision USA President. “The increased economy of scale with global production in Orlando, Florida, will benefit our U.S. customers. Imagery acquired in the U.S. stays in the country, providing quick delivery for normal installation or rapid response in the event of an emergency.”

Ledgerwood added that the expansion was precipitated by the record number of contracts MultiVision USA has received in the past six months for the MultiVision solution. MultiVision is the first integrated oblique imagery and 3D viewing solution designed for use by multiple departments within city and county governments.

“We are excited about the continued growth in the North American market for oblique aerial imagery that has been spurred by the recent introduction of MultiVision 3D Plus,” said Oded Ephrat, President of MultiVision Worldwide, which continues the rapid development of this cutting-edge technology.

A major factor in the success of MultiVision is that it enables users to view infrastructure in true 3D and run simulation analyses, like floods and storm surges, in their GIS environment without third-party vendors or expensive add-on modules. In less than a year, this solution has become a favorite oblique viewing tool in Property Appraisal, Public Safety and Public Works applications.

MultiVision USA will be exhibiting at two upcoming conferences. Visit MultiVision USA in Booth 637 at the 26th Annual NENA 2007 Conference and Trade Show, June 9-14, 2007 in Charlotte, NC. Or visit Booth 1416 at the 27th Annual ESRI International User Conference, June 18-22, 2007 in San Diego, CA.

About MultiVision USA
The MultiVision imagery database and software provide several advantages over other oblique aerial products. MultiVision processing technology registers the oblique images to standard orthophotography to create a seamless multi-dimensional viewing environment in the end user’s GIS coordinate system, resulting in highly accurate feature mapping and measurement. In addition, the MultiVision software provides easy-to-use 3D modeling functionality. With MultiVision USA, you are always in control of your imagery.
