Cessna Aircraft to Display Full Line of Jets at EBACE
Wichita, Kan.,– Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, will display its complete line of business jets at the seventh annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) being held May 22-24 at the Geneva Palexpo, immediately adjacent to Geneva International Airport in Switzerland.
Aircraft on static display will include all Cessna’s current production jets: Citation Mustang, Citation CJ1+, Citation CJ2+, Citation CJ3, Citation Encore+, Citation XLS, Citation Sovereign and Citation X. Also on static display will be the Turbo Stationair (Model 206), and Grand Caravan with the new Oasis executive interior. Cessna will also exhibit a mockup of its Large Cabin Concept (LCC) business jet currently under evaluation.
The LCC mockup, unveiled in October, will be displayed at EBACE for the first time to gather market feedback from European customers to help determine customer requirements for this class of aircraft, and to gauge market demand.
“It is important for us to continue to gather information from our international customers as the business jet market outside the U.S. continues to grow,” Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Jack Pelton said. “In 2006, business jet orders outside the U.S. accounted for 48 percent of our total orders, which is a significant increase compared to the past few years.”
Pelton will be available for questions at Cessna’s press conference on Monday May 21st, at 4 p.m. (local time) in Hall 7, Salon 2. Cessna Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing Roger Whyte, and other Cessna senior executives will also be available for media interviews throughout the event.
