CompuTool Corporation, a leading provider of software for the remodeling and design/build industry, announces a new release of their Integrated Management System at the Annual K/BIS Conference in Las Vegas this week. The new version of CompuTool will feature integration with leading software applications, including Microsoft® Project, Chief Architect® and enhanced integration with QuickBooks® financial software.

CompuTool will demonstration these new features at the annual Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference, which opens today at the Las Vegas Convention Center and runs through Thursday, May 10th.

“We’re proud of our reputation for providing the most complete and easy-to-use software system designed specifically for the remodeling industry,” says Keith Tobias, Chief Technology Officer of CompuTool. “By integrating these leading applications into CompuTool, we’ve taken a step further in offering the industry the most effective solution for streamlining and managing all facets of their business.”

CompuTool’s software provides remodelers with a single software solution for running their business profitably and professionally. Their unique “Flow-Based” system enables users to manage customers, track leads, build estimates and generate customized contracts, schedule all production elements including sub-contractors, manage warranties and service calls, evaluate the effectiveness of their marketing programs and send all customer and job information to QuickBooks® – without any additional data entry or opportunities for errors.

“While we’ve always provided the ability to integrate with QuickBooks,” says Tobias, “our recent enhancement saves users from having to export files to QuickBooks and automatically sends all the data on the customer, including account information, job materials lists, and billing data. We believe this will help further reduce time-consuming repetitive tasks and, more importantly, the chance for potentially costly entry errors.”

In addition to the enhanced QuickBooks® integration, CompuTool’s latest release will feature integration with two other leading software applications utilized frequently by remodeling and design/build firms – Microsoft® Project and Chief Architect®.

Customers who use ChiefArchitect® design and drafting software will have the ability to import the complete materials list into CompuTool and build and manage their estimates from within the application without having to copy and re-enter data. Additionally, Microsoft® Project users will be able to quickly and easily synchronize scheduling and production data with equal ease.

According to Chief Operating Officer Bruce Colwin, “CompuTool has implemented an aggressive product develop program which is a direct result of listening to our customers and responding to their needs.” Colwin adds, “we’ll continue to partner with our customers in order to provide software that gives them a leg up on their competition and helps ensure their continued growth and success.”
