Adecco Seeking Improved Availability with Fujitsu’s VoIP Solution

ICT services provider Fujitsu Services Oy will deliver an IP-based telephony service solution to HR services company Adecco Finland Oy. The solution, which is built on Wicom software, incorporates a VoIP switchboard service (voice over internet protocol) and telephone traffic in fixed and mobile networks.

“Instead of a traditional telephony service we are looking for an availability service, because our main goal is to enhance the availability of our staff,” says IT Manager Daley Nevantaus of Adecco.

The VoIP solution will be integrated in the Outlook calendar, which will ensure improved staff availability and coordinated schedule management.

Thanks to the new centralised service model, Adecco, which has an extensive office network in Finland, is able to operate much more efficiently.

“After reviewing the bids of various service providers, we became convinced that Fujitsu was the one with the best IP-based service model and the most cost-efficient overall solution. What is more, we get everything as a service, without having to purchase any separate software or hardware,” Nevantaus says.

The start-up project of Adecco’s telephony service is already in process. The actual service will be launched in June 2007.
