Fujitsu To Demonstrate New MPEG-4 AVC HD Encoder and Ethernet Solutions At 2007 NAB

At the show, Fujitsu will unveil the new MPEG-4 AVC HD video encoder, the IP-9500, as well as demonstrate its industry-leading 10Gb Ethernet switches, Trusted Network Gateway, and KVM solutions.

At the show, Fujitsu will conduct live demonstrations of the IP-9500, a new line of H.264-based video encoder/decoder that enables broadcast-quality high-definition video transmission over Internet Protocol (IP) and Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) networks. Also showcased will be the Fujitsu XG series of switches, which offer cost-effective and high-performance 10Gb Ethernet Layer 2 switching. Featuring ultra-low latency, flexible interfaces and compact form factors, the switches are ideal for enterprise and video server/storage applications, high-performance computing, and the Internet SCSI (iSCSI) and Networked Attached Storage (NAS) markets. Lastly, Fujitsu will be demonstrating its Trusted Network Gateway that allows for secure internet acceleration over broadband IP networks up to 1Gbps over long distances.
