Alan R. Martin’s “Lost Stories Found” Will Share Mysterious Stories at the 2024 Hong Kong Book Fair

The self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet will exhibit Alan R. Martin’s collection of suspense/mystery stories, titled “Lost Stories Found,” at the Hong Kong Book Fair 2024. The international book fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Harbor Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, on July 17-23, 2024.

The Hong Kong Book Fair (HKBF) is an international book fair organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The fair stands out as a significant platform for cultural exchange in Hong Kong and on an international level. The HKBK showcases a wide variety of books, ranging from the latest popular fiction to children’s and teen’s books and more, as well as an extensive range of stationery, art, crafts, and other multimedia products.

“Lost Stories Found” is a compilation of “stories that are completely different from each other” yet “do have a few things in common.” In them, the reader will find suspense, mysteries, and horror stories told about the unknown spirit world. The reader could come across hallucinations, suicides, and murder in the stories.

Why the “Lost Stories Found”? The author reveals that “throughout the years and centuries, there have been old articles, manuscripts, and souvenir enthusiast’s finding and collecting books, pamphlets, tracts, and old stories from buyers and sellers. Eventually, these stories in this book were put together to grasp how events occurred in different timelines.”

Author’s Biography:

Alan R. Martin was born in Germany. As a child, he played baseball, football, and some basketball. Alan does not consider himself a writer but more of a storyteller. He is pleased to represent ReadersMagnet as his publishing company at international book fairs. He had never been to college and had never been to a journalism school. Alan had been to Vocational Schools, honing his skills. His training usually came in the form of technical trades: electrical, carpentry, and heating/cooling industries. He started writing suspense, mystery, and horror stories when he retired from the state of Missouri as a stationary engineer.
