BLUEROADS Posts 52 Percent Sales Increase Through Partner Opportunity Management Drives

BLUEROADS Corporation, a partner opportunity management company, started 2007 off strong with an increase in sales by 52% from the same quarter in 2006. During the quarter the company closed key customer wins including: Digi International®, Sophos and Network General™ Corporation, and increased the number of active partner sales reps using BLUEROADS to 15,000.

The sales growth this quarter speaks to the demands of medium and large enterprise companies who require more than basic automation and efficiency from their channel management solutions. In February, BLUEROADS announced a commitment to Partner Opportunity Management (POM). Unlike historical Partner Relationship Management (PRM) that focused on channel administration and automation, POM solutions deliver the functionality to uncover more opportunities, shorten sales cycles, increase close rates, and maximize closing margin contributions. Demonstrating this, in the first quarter of 2007 alone 15,000 active partner sales reps managed $10B in opportunities up from over $11B for all of 2006.
