InterKnowlogy Names Emilie Hersh as VP, Business Development and Marketing

Carlsbad, California, 1 July 2005.
InterKnowlogy Chief Executive Officer Tim Huckaby named industry veteran Emilie Hersh as Vice President, Business Development & Marketing today.

Emilie is stepping up to a pivotal role in InterKnowlogy’s leadership team.” said Huckaby. “She has the proven ability to manage a diverse set of products, services and businesses, and has a long-standing, great relationship within the Microsoft organization. Out of the gate, Emilie will own Business Development, Sales and Marketing, and clearly we have big plans for Emilie in helping to operate and manage this company.”
Ms. Hersh will be responsible for administration, personnel, sales, marketing and finance for the company and will assist in the development of corporate processes, large account management and the development and maintenance of partner relations. Ms. Hersh will be an integral member of the management team as InterKnowlogy enters a period of rapid growth.

Throughout the course of her career in Consulting and Technology, Ms. Hersh has successfully built and audited PMOs (Project Management Office), increased clients’ operational efficiencies through technology, and headed the Operations & Business Development teams.
Formerly Vice President, Business Development at Network Insight, LLC, based in San Diego, CA, Ms. Hersh’s expertise includes the development and management of all aspects of a Microsoft Systems Practice Area, to include marketing, services offerings, business development, channel partner programs and resource management.
Ms. Hersh holds an MBA from the University of San Diego (USD) with a dual emphasis in Supply Chain Systems and Project Management. She sits on the USD School of Business Alumni Association Council and is a member of the Women in Leadership Conference Committee at USD. Ms. Hersh is a Board Member on the Institute for Telecommunications Technologies (IT²) Board of Advisors at Cuyamaca College and is a member and membership committee council member of Athena (UCSD Connect).
