Global Crown Capital’s Team Named Compliance Leaders of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO - The compliance team of Global Crown Capital, LLC, a full-service boutique investment firm, has won the 5th Annual Achievement in Regulatory Compliance from the Compliance Reporter, a publication of Institutional Investor, Inc.

Henry Wolfgang Carter, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and Charles Kanavel, Director of Compliance and Technology were recognized for their significant contributions to financial services compliance and regulation.

The Compliance Reporter said that Mr. Carter and Mr. Kanavel were hailed as innovators for helping bring electronic communications to the forefront of compliance.

Mr. Carter is a noted expert, author, lecturer and pioneer in the field of electronic compliance, having served as the Chief Compliance Officer and later Associate General Counsel of E*TRADE from 1997 through 2001. In addition, Mr. Carter was a driving force behind the use of electronic signatures in the financial services industry.

Mr. Kanavel is a noted program designer in the electronic compliance and financial services space, having served as a Compliance Associate at E*TRADE and as Director of Technology at FIRE Solutions, Inc. While at FIRE Solutions, Mr. Kanavel developed PowerComply, which won Institutional Investor’s Vendor of The Year award in 2006.
