Robert J. Andersen is Revel Entertainment Executive Vice President

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Revel Entertainment Group, LLC has named Robert J. Andersen as Executive Vice President of Project Development.

Mr. Andersen brings over 27 years of construction industry experience to his new position including relevant experience in both the gaming industry and Atlantic City. At Revel, he will have direct responsibility for all project development at the Company. In this capacity he will be responsible for development, construction and technical issues, administration of project scheduling and budgets as well as the oversight and coordination of the activities of various project consultants and trade contractors.

Prior to joining Revel, Mr. Andersen was Senior Vice President of Tishman Construction for 24 years. Tishman is one of the world’s leading construction companies with extensive experience managing the construction of premier resort destinations. During his tenure at Tishman, Mr. Andersen was responsible for gaming industry projects including The Borgata in Atlantic City, the Beau Rivage in Biloxi and $4.2 billion of the current MGM Project CityCenter development in Las Vegas which includes the hotel, casino, convention center, Cirque du Soleil theater and parking garage. He also served as Project Executive for Tishman on the Ronald Reagan Federal Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC, and several important projects in New York City including, 7 World Trade Center, the American Stock Exchange, Bank of America, 750 Seventh Ave. and ABC Television’s production and broadcast facility. Before Tishman, Mr. Andersen was an Assistant Vice President at Lehrer/McGovern and a project manager at Merck & Co.

Revel Entertainment’s Atlantic City development site is comprised of twenty acres of beachfront land along the northern end of the boardwalk bordered by Oriental, New Jersey and Metropolitan Avenues. The site is one of the largest, most uniform and contiguous beachfront properties in Atlantic City and currently features over 1,000 feet of beach frontage.
