VIA trains operating normally today despite snowstorm in Montreal and the rest of Quebec


MONTREAL - Despite the snowstorm today in Montreal and the rest of Quebec, all of VIA Rail Canada’s trains are operating normally throughout the region. VIA operates some 60 trains per day throughout the Windsor-Quebec City Corridor.

As weather conditions worsen, many VIA trains are beginning to get closer to a sold out situation. VIA will add cars to accommodate the demand but urges customers to call ahead to be certain of available space.
