VoiceBox Technologies Appoints Brian Cassidy as Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA): New Hire Demonstrates VoiceBox’s Commitment to Global Expansion

Bellevue, Wash.—(Dec. 6)—VoiceBox® Technologies, Inc., the conversational voice search pioneer, today announced its expansion into European markets with the appointment of Brian Cassidy as managing director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his role, Cassidy will lead VoiceBox’s global expansion strategies in mobile devices, personal navigation devices, automotive, digital home and VoIP markets across the EMEA region, complementing the company’s current success in the Asia Pacific region. Cassidy will initially focus on markets across the European geographies.

Cassidy was previously the co-founder of Oracle Corp. Europe and managed it for 10 years. Later, he successfully invested in and helped grow several U.S. software startup companies, successfully selling many of the businesses to larger corporations. Cassidy is an independent board member of Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH), the market leader in supply chain execution software since 1998. He also holds a board seat at Pilgrim Software since 2001. Pilgrim, a Tampa-based software company is the leading provider of compliance software for the life sciences.
