Users get two different engineering databases with one single login

The agreement links Techstreet (www.techstreet.com), a business unit of Thomson Scientific and online supplier of industry codes and standards, with PartMiner, a supplier of components and management services to the global electronics industry.

As part of the agreement, Techstreet will become an authorized reseller of the PartMiner CAPSTM electronic components database and PartMiner will offer enterprise access to Techstreet industry standards in online, digital format. Engineers and technical professionals can access both databases at their desktops through a single, intuitive login and receive one invoice for the combined services. Various usage models and content combinations are available, providing enterprise-wide access to the world’s leading standards from ASTM, BSI, CSA, IEEE, ASME, IPC, ANSI, ISO, IEC, and others, directly from the CAPS database.

In addition, Techstreet and PartMiner have launched the new PartMiner online standards store at www.partminer.com, providing “pay-as-you-go” access to the same globally recognized standards covering dozens of industries, including: manufacturing; electronics; telecommunications; military; computer hardware and software; aerospace, aviation and defense; architectural, civil and environmental; energy; petrochemical; and biomedical. Visitors can freely search the Techstreet database and order standards in hard copy or PDF format for immediate download through an easy-to-use e-commerce interface.
