DHL Wins U.S. Express Delivery Agreement With Real Estate Industry Leader
Plantation, Fla. -- October 24, 2006 - US Recordings Selects DHL to Support Real Estate Transactions in over 3700 U.S. Counties
DHL, the world’s leading express delivery and logistics company, has been selected by U.S. Recordings as its exclusive U.S. express delivery provider. U.S. Recordings, the industry leader in real estate document recording solutions, will now use DHL for transportation of real estate document filings to and from lenders, mortgage companies, and the over 3700 U.S. counties it serves.
St. Paul, Minn-based U.S. Recordings provides recording services for deeds, mortgages, and other original real-estate documents throughout the United States. To facilitate real estate transactions on behalf of residential and commercial lenders, U.S. Recordings needed a reliable shipping carrier to transport documents to and from the thousands of customers it serves. US Recordings also needed a company that could provide a seamless system for customers to track these time-sensitive documents within the US Recordings web site.
“DHL’s responsiveness and ability to tailor solutions that help us provide better service to our own customers has lead to a very successful relationship,” said Jeff Carlson, CEO of U.S. Recordings. “We need the assurance that our original real estate documents are delivered reliably, with utmost integrity. DHL has given us that assurance, and we are now pleased to introduce DHL services for our lenders and other real estate customers that now receive them on-time, and intact,” continued Carlson.
US Recordings’ customers - lenders, mortgage companies, and other real estate industry clients - can now track their real estate material through the US Recordings web site. U.S. Recordings uses DHL’s TrackIT internet tool to enable customers to receive detailed status and tracking history of DHL shipments directly from the U.S. Recordings web site. DHL eCommerce consultants provided the set-up support and XML programming instructions to facilitate the seamless integration. The solution enables U.S. Recordings to control its user interface to perform multiple tasks and provide an improved customer experience.
“Although DHL has the evidence to prove its reliability, we regularly hear directly from customers how we are improving their operation and providing them with a competitive advantage,” said Charles Brewer, executive vice president of Sales for DHL. “Our commitment to the US market is paying off as evidenced by a wide array of customers using DHL for superior support and service.”
