Cibernet launches unique Mobile Roaming Profitability services

Speaking on the eve of the GSMA’s Billing, Accounting and Roaming Group (BARG) meeting in Berlin, Lodwijk Cornelis, Cibernet’s CCO formally released details of Cibernet’s new fast forward business line, a set of tools and services designed to maximise operator roaming profitability.

“The heyday of easy roaming revenue is over” stated Cornelis. “Global voice roaming has become a standard service for both major and niche operators and roaming tariffs are being squeezed all over the globe. Today, mobile operators are having to be more aggressive when negotiating inter operator tariff agreements and manage their roaming activities more cost effectively” he added

To meet these challenges, Cibernet’s fast forward consultants have developed a series of roaming profitability focussed services supported by a unique set of tools to maximise roaming revenues and drive down operating costs.

Our analysis estimates we can improve operators the profitability of existing roaming traffic by 25%” he stated.
