TestAmerica Announces Dr. Kesavalu (Doss) Bagawandoss as the Nashville, Tennessee Laboratory Director

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, announced this week that Dr. Kesavalu (Doss) Bagawandoss joined TestAmerica as the Laboratory Director of its Nashville, Tennessee laboratory.  Dr. Doss joins TestAmerica from Intertek in Houston, TX where he was the Corporate Technical Director of the Shale Team and Laboratory Technical Services Group. 

Dr. Doss is a proven leader who has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career. He has more than 30 years of environmental laboratory experience as a chemist, program manager, technical director, laboratory director and executive manager.  Dr. Doss is renowned for his laboratory expertise in hydrocarbon chemistry, hydraulic fracturing and the crude by rail transportation sector.  He has built and managed several shale sector laboratories and an air laboratory, performed data validation, audited plant and commercial laboratories, consulted with industrial clients on analytical and sampling issues, provided expert witness testimony and conducted environmental forensics of fingerprinting data. 

Dr. Doss is a member of numerous technical committees and organizations including the GPA Technical Committee, ASTM subcommittee on Hydraulic Fracturing and several API Rail Standards committees. He has also served as chair of the EPA-TNI-NEMC shale gas exploration session for the past 5 years.

Dr. Doss received his Ph.D. in Engineering (Environmental Science) from the University of Oklahoma, a M.S. in Chemistry from Wichita State University, a B. S. in Chemistry from Loyola College, University of Madras, and a J.D. from Southern University Law Center.  He is also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.  Dr. Doss complements his technical experience and strong educational background with a leadership vision that is grounded in the belief that quality, client satisfaction and employee satisfaction ultimately lead to organizational success.
