A Story of Achieving Career Ambition to be Shared This November
Dr. Rosalie H. Contino Reveals the Actions She Took Towards the Materialization of Her Dream
“Born to Create is dedicated to those who have yet to find their niche or true meaning to their lives. Age doesn’t matter. Once the door of opportunity presents itself, go for it!”
To what extent can a person be willing to give up in pursuance of his ultimate dream? Will he be prepared to leave his successful present life to start all over again? For Dr. Rosalie H. Contino, no impediment can stop her from achieving her greatest dream.
Born to Create is an inspirational autobiography narrating Dr. Contino’s success in maneuvering the course of her life towards her dream. It recounts the challenges she faced during the occupational transition, from a successful teaching profession to a newfound career in the arts. At the age of 40, she took a bold choice to follow her dream and pursue her passion to create, even when it meant going back to school again. She said, “We all have dreams in our life of what we want to be when we grow up. It took to the age of 40 … that I was able to return to school to be a designer, writer, and playwright.”
As a costume designer, costume historian, playwright, and lecturer, Dr. Contino continuously motivates those who are still venturing into the unknown and scary realm of the future. For those who have not yet realized their dreams, she declared, “Born to Create is dedicated to those who have yet to find their niche or true meaning to their lives. Age doesn’t matter. Once the door of opportunity presents itself, go for it!”
Written in a comfortable and conversational manner, the book sustains a fast-paced narration while consistently communicating inspiration for those who embarked on a journey to realizing their goals.
This book will also be displayed during the 2015 California Library Association Book Fair. The event will be held on November 5-7, 2015 at Pasadena, California. If you’re interested, you can check out Born to Create written by Rosalie H. Contino during the event.
