Underground Stories is a collection of goose-pimples-popping stories on political suspense and crime drama, as well as poems.

Last March 12 to 13, 2016, at the University of Arizona in Tucson, the 2016 Tucson Festival of Books took place. There, a large crowd of authors, publishers, readers, and other industry professionals gathered, and Rosalie Contino showcased her new book at the LitFire booth.

Underground Stories is a collection of goose-pimples-popping stories on political suspense and crime drama, as well as poems. This compilation is certain to leave one spooked from day to night all throughout. With depressing characters facing equally devastating scenarios, one will begin to question if there can really be freakies lurking around.

Ben Carter, a fan of the author, states, “I swear, I haven’t had this much fun and fright in a while. Contino is such a unique storyteller.”

Through these pages, Contino evokes what true grit and gruesomeness are all about. Lovers of the dark genre will be left in awe and impatience for a sequel.
