Winsome Short Stories about the Morals, Desires, and Simplicity in Life
Carlos V. Cornejo rouses with a new set of inspiring and humorous everyday tales.
Simple pleasures – that is what life is all about.
Do you enjoy encouraging and having delightful short reads that set a mood to a less-than-lively weekend or weekday? Do you find yourself caught up in workload and need just that piece of literature to recharge or stimulate your mood? Carlos V. Cornejo hopes to rouse your morning, afternoon, evening, or late evening with his second installment of short stories, Different Coins in the Fountain Volume II.
Simple pleasures – that is what life is all about. In the second set of short stories, Carlos V. Cornejo is once again eager to motivate, teach or simply humor old and new readers with his colorful new array of characters and settings. These short stories are meant to jolt your perspective or simply light a smile up your face. It is a set of stories that can be talked over among your closest friends, or a set of stories you can play and replay in your head over and over. This book, like many, was written to enlighten readers’ mood using personas of different backgrounds and from different stages in life. These brief but memorable life tales remind us of our dreams, our disappointments, and the values we choose to keep.
“I love writing short stories because they are succinct. Anyone can enjoy or take from a good lesson that is both easily read and encouraging. I want all of my readers, wherever they are in the world, to recognize the beauty of a good short story,” states the author.
Written with a light and charming tone, Different Coins in the Fountain Volume II follows the first volume with equal and even more charming short stories. All readers will find at least one favorite in this collection.
The book was featured at the 2015 Frankfurt Book Fair held last October 14-18, 2015 at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt, Germany.
