Vincent W. Morgan and his book, ďPsalm 119Ē, provide a unique way to read Godís word.
But in order to gain the wisdom that it offers, you have to return again and again to spend time with Him.
Humor, color, and solemnity donít usually go together in a book. And considering all those published books related to the subject of God and His words, they have a serious design and layout to convey the right formal and holy tone. That is why, when you read Vincent W. Morganís book Psalm 119: A Handbook for Life, you will enjoy the refreshing splash of colors and font types as they change in every page.
Readers will also find it easy to follow the recurring themes of the psalm. Since aside from the unique layout, the major doctrines are divided into different sections. Hence, the feelings of the composer while writing the verses are easily known and felt by the reader.
Moreover, Morgan has put blank pages throughout the book to encourage the readers to write down their thoughts as they reflect on Godís words and prayers. They can also use the allotted space to take down notes that will aid in understanding the verses better.
In the words of Vincent, ďRead this psalm once and you will see the need to return for another visit. Read it twice and you will begin to see its beauty. But in order to gain the wisdom that it offers, you have to return again and again to spend time with Him. Itís the only way to discover the true riches hidden behind the words of Psalm 119.Ē
