International Psychoanalytical Association to Host Two Open Panels at 49th Congress

Boston – WEBWIRE

“Today’s fast paced world challenges many of our psychoanalytic ideals,” said Dr. Mark Solms, prominent psychoanalyst, neuropsychologist, author and IPA Congress participant. “The IPA Congress provides us a forum to explore how these changes affect our work. My session in particular will look at whether contemporary neuroscience has anything to learn from psychoanalysis. ”

The International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), the oldest and largest international psychoanalytic organization and the world’s primary accrediting and regulatory body for psychoanalysis, will host two introductory panels at the 2015 IPA Congress. The IPA Congress brings together psychoanalysts from all over the world for an intercontinental debate at the highest scientific level to discuss the shape and use of psychoanalytic tools in a changing world. These panels are open to all interested in learning more about psychoanalysis and do not require a Congress ticket.
